Christmas Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. oleo
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 lb. white raisins
1 lb. coconut
1/4 c. citron peel (optional)
1/2 lb. red and green cherries
1/4 lb. slivered almonds
Preparation

Cream sugar and oleo.
Add eggs, milk, lemon and vanilla.
In another large bowl, mix dry ingredients well.
Add creamed mixture and mix well.
Makes 2 small or 1 large cake.
Bake 2 hours at 275\u00b0.
