Crustless Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. toasted wheat germ
    4 slices bacon
    3 Tbsp. sliced green onion
    5 beaten eggs
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
    1 c. shredded Swiss or Gruyere cheese (4 oz.)
Preparation
    Grease a 9-inch pie plate or quiche dish with the butter or margarine.
    Sprinkle the wheat germ over the bottom and up the sides of the pie plate or quiche dish. Set aside.
