Water Chestnut Hors D'Oeuvres - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans water chestnuts, cut to thumb size
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. bacon
    1 bottle catsup
    8 big Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Wrap chestnuts with 1/2 slice of bacon; fasten with a toothpick.
    Place in rows in 9 x 6 x 12-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until bacon is almost done but not crisp.
    Remove from oven; pour off grease.
    Combine catsup and sugar.
    Pour around but not over chestnuts.
    Bake 30 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serve immediately. Yield:
    15 to 18 servings.
