Mary Jo Reeves' Fruit Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. water
    4 c. sugar
    1 family size can frozen orange juice, diluted
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 can crushed pineapple
    5 ripe bananas, mashed
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    maraschino cherries
    3 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Combine water and sugar; bring to a boil.
    Cool mixture.
    Add orange juice, pineapple juice, crushed pineapple, bananas, lemon juice and cherries.
    Mix and freeze.
    To serve, remove from freezer one hour before serving.
    Add 3 quarts of ginger ale. Yields 50 servings.
