Scripture Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Judges 5:25 (butter)
    1 Tbsp. 1 Samuel 14:25 (honey)
    1/2 lb. 1 Samuel 30:12 (raisins)
    1/4 c. Numbers 17:8 (almonds, blanched and chopped)
    dash of 2 Chronicles 9:9 (cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg to taste)
    3 Tbsp. Judges 4:19 (milk)
    1/2 lb. Jeremiah 6:20 (sugar)
    3 Jeremiah 17:11 (eggs)
    1/2 lb. Nahum (figs, chopped)
    4 c. 1 Kings 4:22 (flour)
    pinch of Leviticus 2:13 (salt)
    1 tsp. Amos 4:5 (baking powder)
Preparation
    Beat butter, sugar and honey to cream. Add eggs, one at a time, still beating. Add almonds, raisins and figs. Beat again. Add almonds, flour, spices and baking powder having already mixed them and then add milk. Bake in slow oven for 1 1/2 hours.
