Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. white syrup
    6 Tbsp. margarine (regular; not whipped)
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    10 to 12 c. popped corn
Preparation
    Mix sugar, syrup, margarine, cream of tartar and salt.
    Boil mixture for 5 minutes on medium-high.
    Remove from heat; add soda. Mix well.
    Grease bowl.
    Add popcorn and pour mixture over popcorn.
    Pour on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 30 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
    Cool.
    Store in metal or plastic container.
