Cocktail Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 (12 oz.) bottle chile sauce
    10 oz. grape jelly
Preparation
    Combine first 9 ingredients in a large bowl.
    Mix well. To form
    meatballs,
    use
    1
    tablespoonful of meat mixture and roll into
    balls.
    Heat\tshortening in large skillet on medium heat. Cook
    meatball
    until
    brown on the outside and done on the inside.
    You
    can
    also broil meatballs until done.
    Drain meatballs well
    and
    put to the side.
    In a medium saucepan on low heat,
    heat jelly until it is a liquid, stirring constantly.
    Then add chile sauce.
    Continue stirring until hot.
    Pour over meatballs.\tServe
    very warm.
    Makes 10 servings.
    Can be made ahead, freezes well.
    Sauce tastes better if made ahead.
