Overnight Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 head cabbage
    1/2 c. sliced green onions and tops
    1 pkg. thawed peas
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    In a large bowl layer 1/2 of first 6 ingredients in order given; cover with 1 cup mayonnaise mixed with sugar.
    Repeat layers in order.
    Do not mix.
    Cover with remainder of mayo/sugar. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Toss just before you serve.
