Beth'S Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. boiling water
    4 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    3 tsp. salt
    5 c. flour
    1 qt. buttermilk*
    5 tsp. soda
    1 box Bran Buds
Preparation
    Mix shortening and boiling water.
    Add eggs, sugar and salt. Mix and cool.
    In a bowl mix flour, buttermilk, soda and Bran Buds.
    Mix everything together.
    Cover and let set overnight in refrigerator.
