Shrimp Wine Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. shrimp
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 clove garlic
    3 Tbsp. white wine
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Clean shrimp.
    Melt butter.
    Add garlic and wine.
    Place shrimp on flameproof platter or large broiling pan.
    Pour garlic-wine butter over shrimp; season with salt and pepper. Place in preheated broiler 3 inches from heat; broil 5 to 10 minutes, until shrimp turn pink, turning once.
    Garnish with chopped parsley.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
