Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 c. diced potatoes
    2 c. diced onion
    2 c. diced celery
    2 c. shredded carrots
    1/2 c. butter
    8 slices bacon, cut up in small pieces
    2 cans creamed corn
    2 cans evaporated milk
Preparation
    Saute vegetables (except carrots) with bacon and add to cooked potatoes.
    (When you boil potatoes, cook a very short time, so they don't mush.)
    Add corn, butter and milk last, do not boil after adding milk, it will curdle.
