Vanilla Rings(Vanilluhringir) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 to 2 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla essence
    3/4 c. margarine or butter
    1 egg yolk
Preparation
    Chop the flour, sugar and vanilla with the butter directly on baking table.
    Add egg yolk and work the dough together.
    Put the dough in a cold place to stiffen.
    Pipe the dough into strips. Shape them into rings.
    Put onto greased baking sheets.
    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 200\u00b0C (360\u00b0F).
