Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 small pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 qt. fresh strawberries, sliced
    1 cooled 9-inch baked pie crust
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix water, sugar and cornstarch. Over medium heat, boil together 1 minute.
    Remove from heat and add strawberry Jell-O. Stir until completely dissolved. Add lemon juice.
    Stir and cool. When cooled, add about 1 quart sliced strawberries.
    Pour into pie crust and set in refrigerator about 1 hour.
    Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream. Garnish with extra strawberries, if desired.
