Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 ripe bananas
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mash bananas with 1 well-beaten egg (egg can be omitted during lent).
    Mix well with 1/2 cup sugar.
    Add flour, baking powder and baking soda.
    Mix well.
    Add margarine or butter and vanilla. Bake in 350\u00b0
    oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Makes 1 loaf.
