Burnt Almonds(Brente Mandler) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. almonds
1/2 lb. sugar
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Place almonds, sugar and water in a heavy saucepan over low heat.
Stir.
Water will evaporate and the almonds will be dry. Keep stirring until sugar melts again and almonds are glazed with the caramelized sugar.
Pour on a cookie sheet to cool.
Separate while still warm with a fork dipped in oil.
