Blackberry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until
    light.
    Add the slightly beaten eggs and mix well.
    Dissolve the soda in the buttermilk or sour milk.
    Add the flour and cinnamon to the sugar-egg mixture along with the soda-milk mixture.
    Blend in the jam.
    Bake in greased shallow baking pan 40 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Cut in squares and serve warm with butterscotch sauce.
