Whole Wheat Banana Bread(From New York Times National Foods Cookbook) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. unsifted whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. unsifted unbleached white flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 large or 3 small ripe bananas
    1/4 c. buttermilk or yogurt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat in egg.
    Sift wheat and white flour, baking soda and salt.
    Combine bananas and buttermilk or yogurt enough to mix.
