Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 qt. popped corn
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. boiling water
1 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Place popped corn in large dishpan.
Place sugar, cream of tartar and water in 3-quart saucepan.
Bring to boil.
Place cover on pan and boil 5 minutes on medium, stirring occasionally. Uncover pan and continue cooking without stirring for about 10 minutes or when color starts to change.
Do not cook until it turns dark.
Remove from heat, add margarine and soda and mix thoroughly. Pour quickly over popcorn.
Stir to coat.
Let cool slightly and separate.
