Suzy'S Christmas Egg Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices bread, torn into small pieces
2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 lb. sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
1 c. chopped onion and green pepper, sauteed in butter
1-2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
3/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Place bread in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Top bread with cheese.
In a separate bowl, mix together eggs, scalded milk, sausage, onion/pepper mixture, jalepeno peppers and dry mustard. Pour over bread and cheese.
Refrigerate overnight.
Remove from refrigerator.
Mix together cream of mushroom soup and remaining milk and pour mixture over casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until brown and set.
