Real Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    choice cut beef (1/2 lb. per person)
    water to cover the beef
    1 tomato per person
    1 jalapeno pepper per person
    1 clove garlic per person
    1 onion per person
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Dice beef into 1/2 to 1-inch cubes and brown in oil in a large cast-iron kettle.
    Cover with water and boil 1 to 2 hours until meat is tender.
    Quarter tomatoes, dice garlic, chop onion, slice jalapeno peppers and add 30 minutes before serving.
    Serve with tortilla, rice, salsa and cheese.
    To increase \"macho\" increase peppers.
    This recipe is \"semi-macho\".
    (Anyone who knows beans about chili knows there ain't no beans in chili!)
