Sausage Hash Brown Pie - cooking recipe

24 oz. frozen hash browns, thawed
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 tsp. instant beef bouillon
1 lb. sausage
1/3 c. onion, chopped
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. cottage cheese
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (reserving handful for top)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Mix together hash browns, butter and bouillon.
Press into a 9-inch pie pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
In a skillet over medium heat, brown sausage and onion; drain fat.
Combine eggs and cheese with meat mixture; pour onto hash brown crust.
Sprinkle top with reserved shredded cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before cutting.
