Amish Soft Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. Crisco oil
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. soda
6 c. flour
2 Tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream oil, sugar and eggs together.
Add buttermilk and soda. Blend and add flour, baking powder, vanilla and salt.
Drop by tablespoon on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle sugar on top and bake at 400\u00b0
for 7 or 8 minutes.
