Candy Turtles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

72 pecan halves
Kraft caramels
2 (1 oz. block) sq. semi-sweet chocolate

Preparation

Place pecan halves in groups of 4 on a greased cookie sheet. Place 2 Kraft caramels on top of each group.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 8 minutes or until caramels are softened.
Flatten with a buttered spatula.
Cool.
Remove from cookie sheet and place on waxed paper.
In top of double boiler, melt the chocolate.
Spread over caramel.
Cool until set.
