Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. meat
    6 oz. fat or lard
    3 to 4 cloves garlic
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    4 to 6 Tbsp. chili powder
    8 Tbsp. masa harina
    6 c. hot water
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 cubes beef bouillon
    2 jalapeno peppers
    3 Tbsp. chopped onions
Preparation
    Brown meat in fat.
    Over medium heat, add garlic, salt, pepper, chili powder and masa.
    Mix until fat is absorbed.
    Slowly add hot water.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Simmer 1 to 2 hours, stirring often.
    Serve with Mexican cornbread or crackers. Top with grated cheese, if desired.
    This serves a large crowd and freezes well.
