Cranberry-Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sliced cranberries
    1/4 c. chopped walnuts
    sugar for sprinkling
Preparation
    Heat the oven to 350\u00b0. Grease a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. In a large bowl, using wire whisk, stir the first 4 ingredients until well blended. Combine the eggs, oil, milk and vanilla and whisk them in. Stir in cranberries and walnuts and turn into the prepared pan. Sprinkle top with sugar. Bake until cake is golden brown and shrinking from the pan. Let cake cool in pan and then cut into squares. Makes about 24 (2-inch) squares.
