Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1 c. dates, sliced thin
1 c. nuts, chopped fine
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda

Preparation

Cream sugar, egg and vanilla.
Add applesauce and mix well. Add rest of ingredients, mixed.
Bake in well-greased paper-lined pan for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
