Ingredients

2 1/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (4 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding mix
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Mix flour, butter, sugar, vanilla and pudding mix in large bowl; beat until smooth and creamy.
Beat in eggs and flour mixture.
Add chips and nuts.
Batter will be stiff.
Drop by teaspoonfuls, about 2-inches apart, onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 7 dozen.
For chocolate cookies, use chocolate instant pudding mix.
