Gracious Hot Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. tomatoes, fresh or stewed
    6 large onions, diced
    2 1/2 c. vinegar
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    6 bell peppers, diced
    12 hot peppers or more
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and cook on medium heat for 2 1/2 hours, stirring often, to keep from sticking.
    (Cook longer if you want it thicker.)
    Put in canning jars while hot.
    Use sealing lids.
