Low-Fat Pound Cake - cooking recipe

5 Tbsp. reduced fat margarine
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 egg whites
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 2/3 c. unbleached flour
1/2 c. oat bran
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. vanilla or lemon nonfat yogurt
Preparation

Combine margarine and sugar; beat until smooth.
Add egg whites and vanilla; beat.
In separate bowl, combine flour, oat bran and baking soda.
Add flour mixture and yogurt to margarine mixture.
Beat just enough to mix well.
Coat an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes. Let sit for 20 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
