Plain Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. Crisco
    4 to 6 Tbsp. icy water
Preparation
    Place flour and salt in mixing bowl.
    Add Crisco and cut in with pastry blender.
    Add water carefully and stir with fork until mixture just holds together.
    Roll out on slightly floured board or pastry cloth.
    Makes 2 pie crusts.
