Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 eggs
1/4 c. skim milk
6 (1-inch thick) slices French bread
1 to 2 Tbsp. powdered or confectioners sugar
Preparation

Melt margarine in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, stir and then set aside.
Combine eggs and milk in a shallow bowl.
Dip bread slices into egg mixture to coat both sides.
Lay slices over sugar-cinnamon mixture in baking pan.
Pour any remaining egg mixture over the bread slices.
Cover pan with foil and refrigerate overnight.
Remove pan from fridge 1 hour before baking to reach room temperature.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Bake 25 minutes with foil on.
Remove foil and bake for 15 minutes longer.
