Fried White Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 large potatoes
    1 to 2 medium onions
    1 tsp. pepper
    salt to taste
    2 c. oil
    4 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and onions.
    Slice.
    Heat oil in iron skillet until hot.
    Season potatoes with salt and pepper.
    Drop in hot grease.
    Let cook on low heat until tender.
    Add onions.
    Cover and cook until onions are tender.
    Sprinkle flour over onions and potatoes.
    Cook until brown.
    Add water.
    Cover.
    Open and stir until it makes a smooth gravy.
    Serve with steak or lean meat and hot biscuit.
