Angel Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add egg.
    Then add sifted dry ingredients.
    Roll into small balls.
    Cover bottom of glass with cloth and moisten.
    Dip in sugar.
    Press balls flat.
    Makes 6 dozen.
    Bake at 325\u00b0.
