Margie'S Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    2 or 3 large potatoes diced
    1 16 oz. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 small can stewed tomatoes
    1 small can tomatoes soup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    Mixed vegetables, carrots, corn, lima beans, green beans, green peas, and cabbage if desired
Preparation
    Add all raw vegetables to stew pot and cook for 30 minutes. Add salt, butter, tomatoes, tomato soup, fill pot 3/4 full with water stirring occasionally to keep stew from sticking.
    Stew is ready to serve and can be served with crackers or over corn bread with a glass of ice cold tea.
