Pineapple Crunch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
    1/2 c. coconut
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. chopped pecans
    3 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using drained pineapple juice in place of water (water may have to be added to equal amount of liquid needed).
    Pour 1/2 of the cake batter in 9 x 13-inch prepared pan.
    Top with pineapple.
    Pour remaining cake batter over pineapple.
