Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine margarine, oil and granulated sugar. Beat until creamy; add powdered sugar, vanilla and eggs.
Mix well.
Sift soda, flour, cream of tartar and salt; add to other ingredients.
Mix well.
Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
Put on lightly greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 12 to 15 minutes. Yields about 100 cookies.
