Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. bread crumbs
    6 sweet peppers
    1 large onion
    1 tsp. black pepper
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut off stem ends of peppers and remove seeds.
    Boil pepper shells for about 5 minutes in lightly salted water and drain.
    Mix ground beef with bread crumbs, chopped onion and tomatoes which have been drained (save the juice).
    Season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Stuff peppers with the mixture, pour juice from tomatoes over peppers and bake in a moderate oven (about 350\u00b0) for 1 1/2 hours or until peppers are tender and the stuffing cooked through.
