Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 lb. steak
    1 large onion
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    8 carrots, sliced
    1 can tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Pound flour into steaks.
    Season both sides with salt and pepper.
    Saute onion in oil in skillet.
    Add steak; brown on both sides.
    Place meat and onion in baking dish.
    Add carrots.
    Beat tomatoes with electric mixer.
    Pour over carrots.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
