Apple Harvest Gingerbread - cooking recipe

1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 large baking apple, peeled, cored, thinly sliced
1/2 c. unsalted butter, melted
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. molasses
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. boiling water
almonds and pecans for garnish
vanilla ice cream
Preparation

Butter and flour 10 inch springform pan.
Line bottom with waxed paper.
Butter and flour paper.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Sift flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt into medium bowl.
