Maple Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. coffee cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. maple syrup
    3 Tbsp. butter
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup and cream in a deep saucepan.
    Stir carefully over low temperature until sugar is dissolved and syrup starts to boil.
    Add butter; boil to soft ball stage.
    Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
    Cool until warm to touch.
    Add vanilla and salt; beat until creamy.
    Turn into buttered 8 or 9-inch square pan.
    Cut into squares.
