Pear Mincemeat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 1/2 lb. pears, peeled
    1 lemon with rind
    1 orange with rind
    1 apple with peeling
    1 c. grape juice (or other)
    2 lb. seedless raisins
    1 lb. butter
    1 Tbsp. cloves
    1 Tbsp. allspice
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. syrup
    3 lb. sugar
Preparation
    Grind all together.
    Cook to thicken (takes some time). Put in jars and seal.
    Makes about 10 pints.
