Never Fail Pie Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    3 egg whites
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch, sugar, water and salt.
    Cook in small saucepan until clear.
    Cool slightly.
    Beat egg whites until frothy. Continue beating while pouring in cooked mixture.
    Continue beating 5 minutes.
