Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. chopped apples (no need to peel)
1/2 c. sugar
1 small can pineapple tidbits (with juice)
1 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
2 Tbsp. vinegar
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 c. unsalted peanuts
Preparation

Drain juice from pineapple.
Mix with flour, vinegar, egg and sugar. Cook until thick.
Cool completely and mix with Cool Whip. Fold in apples, peanuts and pineapple. Best if made the night before serving.
Keeps well.
