Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 ripe bananas, mashed
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. wheat germ
    1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add mashed bananas, vanilla and eggs.
    Combine remaining ingredients (except nuts) and add to first mixture.
    Stir only until well mixed, then add nuts.
    Bake in well-greased loaf pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
    Allow to cool in pan.
