Southwest Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1 c. water
    1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    2 bay leaves
    3 (13 oz.) cans beans (2 small red beans and 1 kidney beans), undrained
Preparation
    In stew pot saute beef, onion, green pepper and garlic for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Then add remaining ingredients.
    Cook slowly, about 30 minutes.
    Serve with cheese and onions.
    Serves up to 10 people.
