Southern Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sour cream
    2 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar; beat well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Combine flour and soda; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
    Mix well after each addition.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until cake tests done. Cool cake in pan 10 to 15 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely.
