Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. baking potatoes, peeled, cut and diced
    1 medium red bell pepper, cored, de-ribbed and cut in 1/4-inch pieces
    1 medium green bell pepper, treated same as red bell pepper
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 c. water
    4 ears of corn, kernels removed (2 c.), cooked
    4 scallions, white and green parts, trimmed and thinly sliced
    2 stalks celery, peeled and thinly sliced
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 drops hot red pepper sauce
    freshly ground pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. unsalted butter (optional)
Preparation
    Place potatoes, peppers and onion in water in 5-quart casserole with tightly fitting lid.
    Cook, covered, at 100% power in high power oven, 12 minutes or 24 minutes in a low power oven.
