Smoky Sausage Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
1 large onion, chopped
1 c. picante sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1 c. vegetable juice cocktail
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 lb. smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced in 1/2-inch pieces
Preparation

Brown ground beef with onion in saucepan; drain.
Sprinkle chili powder and cumin over meat; cook and stir 1 minute.
Add remaining ingredients except optional toppings; bring to boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes.
Stir.
Ladle into bowls; top as desired and serve with additional picante sauce. Serves 6.
