Allie'S Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 green peppers
    12 red peppers
    6 or more onions
    2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    1 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Remove seeds from peppers.
    Peel onions and put both in food chopper and grind.
    Put in kettle.
    Cover with boiling water; let stand 10 minutes.
    Drain.
    Again cover with boiling water.
    Bring to boiling point and let stand 10 minutes; drain as dry as possible.
    Return to kettle and add vinegar and sugar.
    Bring to boiling point; let simmer 15 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal.
