No Peek Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. chuck beef, cut into bite-size pieces
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 lb. mushroom slices
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1/2 c. cooking sherry (optional)
    1 c. water
    egg noodles or rice
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well and put into a casserole dish.
    Cover and bake 3 hours at 300\u00b0.
    Do not peek.
    Serve on egg noodles or rice.
